Breathe Life Healing Center

80 days sober today! 🎉 I have been at Breathe since May 5th, 2025 and this has been a life changing experience. I will grieve this experience when I leave at the of this month. I discharge on the 25th and I feel I’ve been equipped with all the tools needed to stay sober. The staff are empathetic, compassionate and well educated on addiction recovery. I’m going to cherish all the memories I have at Breathe. I have met some of the most amazing people— friends I will hold dear to my heart for the rest of my life. If you’re struggling with addiction or an eating disorder, come be apart of the Breathe community. It will be tough but so worth it. I’ve unpacked 40 years of trauma here; leaving Breathe with freedom, healing and self compassion. I’m looking forward to a life free of substances and binge eating. Thank you, Breathe for saving my life!

I did not like the way I was treated in this program. Maybe it was because this was before knowledge was up-to-date, but I’ve tried programs since this one and they are much more advanced. This program is absolutely ridiculous. They treated me like I was some sort of specimen to be fixed like I was a child. It’s true that I was only 22 years old but regardless when I left this treatment center, I went straight back to doing the things I was gonna do. They would always tell us that eight out of 10 of us are gonna die and every time one of the alumni died the director would come out and announce it. I really did like the director of the program… I just feel like my hair was not indivisualized enough. I also feel like my feelings towards drugs I was told were invalid, which is not accurate or it’s true. I have done treatment programs since that validated my feelings, and didn’t leave me feeling like this life was some sort of game.

My experience with Breathe was amazing and truly life-changing. The therapists are highly educated and helped me explore my issues deeply. Kathleen, the clinical director, is remarkable, and her group sessions are among my favorite memories. The campus is beautiful and serene, and the food was excellent. The alumni program keeps me connected, and I’ve made some lifelong friends there. I would absolutely recommend Breathe to anyone who is struggling.

I had a beautiful eye awaken experience at breathe Valerio was a top notch therapist who can read you inside out and give such insightful advice.Blake was amazing as well and last but not least Gracie the Cm was so compassionate and amazing I personally didn’t finish treatment unfortunately but am going to another facility and hopefully can use the amazing tools I was able to get in breathe I am eternally grateful for the sense of community I felt and was touched by the place deeply. I unfortunately lied to myself and didn’t take advantage of them to the full extent that I should have but I am excited on the journey I am going to go on with the skills I learned there Thank you breathe for giving me a beautiful new outlook on life and last but not least thank you to the Amazing nurses Neenah and Lexus you were top notch personable and such beautiful souls. I have not one bad thing to say other than my lack of accountability in my part but something I learned at breathe from another amazing Cm Hassan is things happen for me not to me. I went to breathe on Jan 9th 2021. I almost have 3 years in recovery and I was angry at Breathe, depress, lost, lost everything broke my addiction to get out of a serious situation I was in. My family wanted nothing to do with me and today it’s different, I made amends with my Parents, Aunt, Uncle ,Cousins and friends. I managed to quit smoking at Breathe thanks to Brad at smoking session group he hosted. I have rebuilt my life and I get to be there for my family. Breathe has prepared me for the future, it was not a vacation in Breathe, give it time and one day a time! Great staff and you will develop wonderful relationships. Thank you Breathe..
