This place saved my cousin’s life. It’s the only time in his life I felt like he was happy and safe. Finding recovery isn’t easy, but Design for Recovery helps you feel connected and comfortable. Such an amazing staff and facility.

Design for Recovery enabled me to do what I never thought possible: do sober living with two dogs. After a very rough 2024, I needed to reset my recovery. I found Design and packed my two dogs up and drove from the east coast not quite knowing what I would find. I found a gorgeous home in a wonderful and safe area. I also found house managers that made our sobriety their number one priority. During my three months there I had structure, transportation to 12 step meetings, basic necessties covered, and a community of men that quickly became family.

The spacious rooms and outdoor water slide are just the beginning—but what really makes this place special is the community. The staff are friendly, present, and genuinely invested, and the brotherhood here gave us space to heal, grow, and process our trauma without judgment. It’s a supportive environment where you’re not just getting sober—you’re becoming whole again. 10/10 would heal here again.

I can’t say enough good things about Design for Recovery from what I’ve seen during my friend’s time there. The environment is incredibly supportive and positive, which made a huge difference in their recovery journey. The staff is genuinely caring and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome and safe. They really take the time to understand each individual’s needs and provide a sense of structure, while also encouraging independence. What really impressed me was the sense of community. My friend was surrounded by others who were all working toward similar goals, and that camaraderie created such a strong, uplifting atmosphere. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and well-kept, which helps create a sense of peace and stability. And I could tell my friend was making real progress because of the resources available to them. I’m so grateful for Design for Recovery for being a part of my friend’s journey. I’ve seen them grow so much during their time there, and I know it was a major factor in their success. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a supportive, safe, and structured environment for recovery!

My loved one went to stay at Jefferson House during his recovery. He was so well taken care of and received support and genuine care from all the house managers. They were also so wonderful and kind to me as well— always answering my questions and being extremely communicative. Vinny, Jerry, and Paul all played a major role in keeping my loved one alive and getting him on the path to recovery. They’re the best! So grateful for them and the work this house does. :)
