House of Zen Recovery Los Angeles

Food was good and great selection. On our visit we choose to order from the 3 course set menu. There was plenty to choose from and the portion sizes were about just right. Staff was friendly and the service was good. Once food was ordered we had a decent waiting time between courses and we didn't feel rushed. My only grumble was my drink,I ordered the house larger which was nice and crisp and clean but you only get 2/3 of a pint for £7 which is mad,for that price it should have been a full pint. Other than this we will definitely visit again in the future.

Chicken satay was the best by far, the dressing is amazing and it’s delicious. Dumplings were just right but nothing special. Pi-pa duck was really plain, it had a small dressing on the side to give more taste to it but still nothing that would impress. The noodles on the other side, had more textures and flavors in the dish. The local is well decorated but I felt like tables were too close together and left not enough space to have intimacy, you can heard all the conversations from the tables that are next to yours.

Absolutely amazing food and impressive service which is well worth the price. We were consistently checked on by the staff even though it was packed that night, the chicken in black bean sauce was also one of the best I have tasted before. Will definitely be coming back

Very pleasant place for lunch and good lunch deals e.g. two course meal for £16. Good sized portions and vegetarian options. Quite spicy which suited me; one daughter found it rather too spicy but that's a matter of taste.

Amazing food. Had the set menu and everything was incredible. Beef sizzling special is highly recommended! Service was quick and it was a great atmosphere even on a Monday night. Cocktails were brilliant and very unique
