Testimonials

The Last House saved my son's life. I had no idea that such a program even existed, to be honest. When my son was hitting his rock bottom we did not have much time. The search was on and I was clueless to even know how to start. I've heard SO MANY horror stories about rehabs and sober living homes. It's almost impossible to navigate the options out there. Frustrated with the process of searching for a solution, I was almost about to give up when I was introduced to the Last House. I knew instantly we found the right place. Call it a mothers intuition, I just knew we found it. We found a place we could trust and that would give my son a sense of belonging, brotherhood, structure, support, and long term tools to help him relaunch back into mainstream life again...sober and with a purpose. It's not an easy program. It really is the last hope the last "house" for a lot of these boys. Which turn into men very quickly as soon as they walk through the doors. It's a no BS approach with a TON of accountability daily. That's the magic of the program...peers holding each other accountable. All of the young men have earned that title of being part of the Last House...and I know for my son, it's a huge sense of pride. It's something he earned under the guidance of such a AWESOME group of guys. Our son recently graduated after completing his 18 months with the Last House. He recently moved out on his own, started a great new job and he eager to give back to the program and help other young men starting on their sober journey. Our family will be forever grateful for the support and LOVE that Last House showed our son.

The Last House has been extraordinarily influential in my recovery journey over the past 18 months. From the moment I arrived, I felt the love and support I needed to help me persevere through emotional depression, substance addiction, and anger. The staff are well informed, caring, and no nonsense men who impose structure and principled living into every struggling individual who walks through their doors. I am immensely grateful for my experience at The Last House and can confidently state I wouldn’t be where I am today if I hadn’t made the decision to enroll in this program.

Overall, the last house gave me a second chance at life. Prior to the house I could not go a day without using drugs or alcohol, and now I currently have over a year of continuous sobriety. I have learned healthy new tools to cope with depression and anxiety, and am fully comfortable with being sober now. The community is very strong as-well, and I met some great friends moving to LA not knowing anyone before. It taught me work ethic and gave me the tools on how to live a productive and fulfilling sober life. I have been able to purchase my first car and an apartment all in under a year. I am also returning to college in the spring to study finance. I cannot recommend the last house enough!

What a true blessing the last house has been for my family. My brother struggled with addiction on and off for half a decade. Not only did it take a toll on him but those around him. Finding a truly dedicated team like the last house provides brought so much peace and comfort to our situation. I’m beyond happy to say my brother is now coming up on 3 years sober and truly the most remarkable man I know. Thank you!!!

I don't even know where to begin here. The Last house truly saved my brother's life. I am a nurse and have (what I consider) a pretty good background in healthcare and even studied mental health etc. My brother was a successful student, with two college degrees (agriculture/construction management), charming, fun loving, and a BALL of energy. Well, little did we know, at the age of 26, he had a full Bi-polar manic break which landed him in a spiral. 3 DUI's, more arrests than I care to explain, lawyers on speed dial, doctors on faster speed dial, etc. As a family, we tried everything. We took away the car keys, he went and somehow bought a car! We took away to credit cards, his resources, etc. With the exception of kicking him out homeless we had no idea what to do. It wasn't until he was faced with potential prison time, we discovered The Last House. Honestly, I didn't think this would work. In my head, this was another "typical" sober living....aka catering to drug addicts rather than what they ACTUALLY do, which is save lives. My brother has been sober now for 3+ years, (he could tell you to the day how many since his last drink/substance). I can honestly say, this house saved my brother's life. 10000% THIS HOUSE PRODUCES RESULTS. They are easy to contact, honest, have a great straight forward system. They create a brotherhood and lasting results for their guys. They make living sober very tangible, and quite honestly fun. I am so thankful to this program. Thank you for giving me my brother back.
