Testimonials

Westwind Recovery truly changed my life. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, understood, and cared for in a way I hadn’t experienced before. The staff is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional but also deeply compassionate—many of them are in recovery themselves, which made all the difference. They understood my journey on a personal level and met me where I was with patience and empathy. One of the things that sets Westwind apart is its commitment to long-term recovery. Graduating from the program didn’t mean the support ended. They have an incredible alumni program that truly keeps you connected. I had the opportunity to return as a house manager, and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It gave me a chance to give back, stay grounded in my own recovery, and help others on their path—just like others did for me. Being a house manager at Westwind isn’t just a job—it’s an extension of the healing journey. It keeps you plugged into the community, reinforces accountability, and provides a unique opportunity for growth, both personally and professionally. I’m endlessly grateful for everything Westwind has given me—sobriety, purpose, and a community that feels like family. If you’re looking for a program that doesn’t just help you get sober, but helps you build a new life, this is the place.

I spent 5 months at Westwind and truly had a wonderful experience. The staff was unbelievably warm, compassionate and supportive. The programming was one of the best I’ve seen and I really got the chance to learn more about myself and get back aligned with who I really am sober. I can’t thank the westwind team enough on being there for me during my personal recovery. I definitely recommend this program for anyone in search of healing and empowerment.

I had a great experience at WW. Maia was my primary therapist, but the entire staff and group sessions were beneficial for my mental health. The team was extremely welcoming while also remaining professional and supportive throughout my time enrolled in their program. Maia did a fantastic job of encouraging me to challenge myself and strive to work diligently on recovery. An individual must desire a better life for themselves, but the team at WW can be a strong support system to help along the way. I fully recommend their programs if they are suitable to the individual dealing with mental health or related issues.

Westwind Recovery gave me my start. When I arrived, it was my first time ever trying to get sober. That’s a big thing to say—and an even bigger thing to live through. With the guidance, compassion, and structure I found at Westwind, I was able to not only get sober, but stay sober. That foundation has carried me through, and now, nearly a year later, I’m proud to be a house manager here—continuing my recovery by helping others start theirs. The program works because it’s built on real care. The staff are knowledgeable and deeply committed. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed. And the houses themselves are beautiful, welcoming, and set up to help clients feel both at home and inspired to grow. Westwind isn’t just a place I went—it’s a part of who I am now. I’ll always be grateful.

I was a client at Westwind Recovery from January to May 2025. From the moment I was picked up by Robin until I had my exit interview with Sean, the program manager, I was cared with individualized attention and respect. Taking care of my needs through group and one-on-one therapy. I know that West Wind was central for my recovery, and I would urge anyone who finds themselves in a situation such as mine to inquire about this treatment program. You will find empathetic staff and professionals, not only with deep knowledge about the roots of addiction, but people who underwent similar experiences such as mine. I plan in being an active alumn of Westwind in the future, and I'm grateful to all of them for the unwavering support I received as I was trudging the challenge of addiction. Michael Kagan
