Wish Recovery

Okay, for starters. Yes, this place is real. I've been here. since, December 6th 2024, I'm coming up on 5 months of sobriety, I'm currently in the IOP portion of the program. When I arrived at Wish, detox, back in December, I was completely broken. I came through the door with the gift of desperation and since then I've been taking it One Day at a Time. The staff has been great. The entire staff have been great. The owners are great too . I would like to leave names, but there's so many good people here that I don't want to leave anybody out but this is a really good place. Wish isn't perfect, and the people here are not perfect, but if you want to get help and really want support, you can find that here. If you want to go on doing it your way as we've done so many times before then I feel sorry for you and I pray that you receive the gift of pain in order to recover. I'm about to enroll in college classes now to start a second career once I graduate IOP here at Wish everything you need to stay sober and get sober is here the meeting, supporter staff, counselors, therapy, group therapy and peer support. Wish Detox truly changed my life! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and cared for. The staff is incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable, making sure every client receives personalized care tailored to their needs. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and designed to create a peaceful healing environment. The programs are structured yet flexible, offering everything from medical detox to holistic therapies that really make a difference. I never felt judged—only encouraged and empowered to take the next steps in my recovery journey. The team at Wish Detox goes above and beyond to ensure each person has the tools they need for long-term success. This is a great place to stabilize and get your life back if you are struggling with drugs and or alcohol. When I entered this facility I was broken, mentally, physically, and spiritually. There is a counselor, therapist there named Navid. When I had my first session, I cried like a baby and thought to myself, “F that, I am never opening up to that guy or anyone again.” I wanted to leave so many times, but I am glad I didn’t. Recovery IS NOT EASY, and you have to want it. That said, if you want it, this is the place for you. People at this facility actually care. You’re not always going to get what you want, but you are going to get what you need. Detox is super difficult, your thinking is skewed, but this place gives you a real fighting chance. There is an amazing chef, that literally makes almost anything you want for breakfast, there are sodas and snacks and food readily available 24 hours 7 days a week. There is a nursing staff of course, a gym, a pool, hot tub, pool table, and tv’s in every room, with most of if not all the premium channels like Netflix, Amazon prime, max etc. You don’t have access to all these things at all times, but they are there. There is a kick boxing instructor that comes a couple times a week and a beautiful young woman who comes in and teaches yoga. I can say from first hand experience that those people care and have good hearts as well. Someone comes and does massages once a week, if you need or want that, as well as a chiropractor. You have classes, for most of the day, but you probably need them, honestly if you can’t get clean here, you’re not ready. Going to WISH was one of the best decisions I made last year and I can’t recommend them enough. Some of the staff, Matt, Colin, Tera in particular really made me feel welcome, I am sure that I am leaving out good peoples names but those are the first that come to my mind and I wish to respectfully say that I appreciate them for how they interacted with me while I was really processing a lot of real life stress and emotion. If you’re really ready to change, you can’t make a better decision than Wish recovery. The director there, Elena, is wise beyond her years and incredibly kind. I know this review sounds ridiculously positive, but that’s because it is. You will face problems and mental, physical, and spiritual difficulties going through detox, but these people can save you, as I feel they have helped save me.

The amenities at Wish Recovery are truly top-notch. I appreciated the well-furnished private rooms that provided a comfortable and private space for reflection and rest. The facility also offers a variety of recreational activities, including mini golf, table football, tennis, and billiards, which were great for relaxation and socialization. Additionally, the on-site gym, steam room, and sauna contributed to my overall well-being during my stay. The culinary experience deserves special mention. The meals prepared by Chef Ali were exceptional, and I found myself looking forward to each dining experience. The quality and variety of the food exceeded my expectations and added a comforting aspect to my recovery journey. The staff’s commitment to my recovery was evident throughout my stay. Their compassionate and supportive approach made a significant difference in my progress. I highly recommend Wish Recovery to anyone seeking a comprehensive and luxurious environment for their rehabilitation journey.
